Ailin had the opportunity to bring her dad to class to talk about what it is like to be a police man.
Many of the students raised their hands when asked if they wanted to be a police officer when they grew up. They learned that one of the biggest skills a police officer must have to do a good job is the skill of listening. They were encouraged to start practicing that skill now in class for Mrs. Robertson and at home for their parents. Great tip.
One of the most interesting aspects of course were the handcuffs.
There were a few volunteers to try them on.
Some changed their mind.
Mrs. Robertson was a brave volunteer.
